FEATURED IN

Eli Rallo is an author and internet creator based between New York City and Houston, Texas. Originally from New Jersey, she’s been a writer since her early days as a suburban theater kid.

She went viral on TikTok in the spring of 2020 and has since grown her platform to over one million followers on TikTok and more than 200,000 on Instagram.

Her debut book, I Didn’t Know I Needed This, was published by Harvest (a HarperCollins imprint) in December 2023, followed by a 12-city nationwide tour. Her sophomore book of essays, Does Anyone Else Feel This Way?, is set for release in October 2025.

When she isn’t writing or TikToking, she enjoys seeing live theatre, reading, eating Chipotle, doing pilates, and taking long, existential walks.

And just like that…

You can now preorder my sophomore collection of essays with HarperCollins, Does Anyone Feel This Way?

Welcome to Prose Hoes

The book club needed a face lift. Reading is sexy. Books are hot. Literacy is seductive.

'Book-ish girls' and bookworms have always gotten the underdog treatment—depicted as quiet and mousey and serious in pop culture and media. But why can't cracking open a fresh book and a bottle of wine be as satisfying a Friday night as hitting the clubs?

Why can't it be seen as sexy and cool and exciting to stay up all night because a book kept you awake? Why can't you grow your mind like you're encouraged to grow your social circles in your 20s? Why can't you do both?

We intend to bring back the literary salon for those of us who are looking for new friends, fresh stories and new perspectives while reading one dynamic, interesting, diverse book a month (over a glass of wine that has been perfectly paired to said book).
